PLEASE do not forward the email that has been circulating, about the Plainfield Greyhound Track closing and the "May 14th deadline" after which 500 dogs will be killed. This is NOT TRUE. To make matters worse, the people who are spreading these false allegations are the sources for recent articles in the Boston Herald and NY Times.
See my previous post and go to the GRR website for the FACTS.
Remember: "pity adoptions" do not work. There is no panic to get these dogs homed. The challenge is to get them into foster care, and to pay for their food, etc. while doing so. Another site you can go to for more info is Greyhound Tails.
Again, do not forward that email!!
